Welcome to our club website! Gold Rush Guides is a Sacramento-area puppy raising club dedicated to raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc.

Our members range in age and experience but we all share a common goal: To nurture a puppy into one day becoming the eyes of a blind/visually impaired individual.

  • Congratulations to Dot and her proud puppy raisers Lois and Loni! Dot graduated on July 17 in San Rafael and now lives in Huntington Beach, CA.
  • Lily has reached the final phase of her formal training!
  • Please welcome Esprit, a female black lab to be raised by Debi!
  • Matisse was selected to be a breeder!! She was presented at the GDB graduation in San Rafael on May 8, 2010.
