Welcome to our club website! Gold Rush Guides is a Sacramento-area puppy raising club dedicated to raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc.

Our members range in age and experience but we all share a common goal: To nurture a puppy into one day becoming the eyes of a blind/visually impaired individual.

  • Congratulations to Albany and Perlita! Both dogs will take center stage at the Feb 13 graduation in San Rafael. Great job to their puppy raisers, Sean & family and Patti & Simone!
  • What better way to ring in the new year than with a new puppy! Male yellow lab Quinn joined the club in January 2010 to be co-raised by Patti and Simone.
  • Little golden girl Leeza has decided guidework isn't her thing. She was career changed in December 2009 & will be placed by GDB.
  • Female yellow lab Fritter graduated as a guide dog on December 12, 2009. Congratulations to Jerri, Shirley & Bill for a job well done!
